KATHMANDU, June 24: The government has transferred Baikuntha Aryal, suspended from his position as Chief Secretary.

Minister for Communication and Information Technology Rekha Sharma said that it had been decided to create a special position equivalent to Chief Secretary in the National Planning Commission and transfer him there. She said that the said special post will be maintained throughout the tenure of Aryal.
A corruption case has been registered against Aryal in the Special Court on Sunday.
