Industrialists, artists, journalists and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
Talking to media persons, Vice-president Jha said the festival was observed as a goodwill festival, which has been linked the madhesh and the hills to a large extent.
He also wished that all the Nepalis work together to make the November 19 election successful and that the governance of the State falls in the able hands of the good leaders.
