KATHMANDU, Jan 27: Constitutional Committee of the Constituent Assembly has formed five sub-committees to start the process for drafting the constitution in a systematic way. Khim Lal Devkota will head preamble drafting sub-committee, Nilambar Acharya will head the sub-committee related to arrangements on political parties, Nilam Barma will head the sub-committee related to the arrangement on constitution amendment, Laxman Lal Karn will head the sub-committee related to the arrangements for emergency powers and the sub-committee headed by Sapana Malla will work on the issues surrounding the name of the constitution. The sub-committees have been asked to submit their reports by mid-February.
