Cadres vandalize Yadav's vehicle

PARSA, April 18: Cadres of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF) vandalized the vehicle of their Chairman Upendra Yadav in Parsa district on Monday.



They attacked the vehicle ferrying Yadav and hurled stones at Rajat Jayanti Chowk while he was heading to Kathmandu after taking part in party’s extended meeting of district committee. However, nobody was injured in the attack. [break]



The vandalism comes following the MJF’s decision to dissolve its Parsa District Committee to settle dispute between district Chairman Sashikapur Miya and Vice-Chairman Pradeep Yadav.



It is believed that MJF cadres resorted to the attack to express their resentment at the dismissal of the committee. They also staged a demonstration in Birgunj on Monday.
