Cache of stolen goods found at CDO guard's room

DOLAKHA, Feb 18: Police on Monday morning recovered a huge amount of stolen goods from the rented room of a guard of the chief district officer (CDO) here in the district.



The items, which had been stolen from around 50 shops in Charikot over the last six months, were recovered from the room of Khemraj Praja located at Manedanda of Bhimeshwor Municipality, DSP Om Adhikari, the district police chief, informed.



Earlier, the police had formed a special team to curb rising cases of theft in the district. At the moment, the owners have thronged the district police office to receive their stolen properties.
