The committee took a decision to this effect following a recommendation of a subcommittee led by Maoist CA member Hitman Shakya. “Since it is one of the major issues, we decided to settle it only after consulting the top leaders,” said Shakya.
CA members from various ethnic backgrounds have been advocating for special privileges for certain marginalized communities.
