CA member Ray held, freed

KATHMANDU, Dec 14: Constituent Assembly (CA) member Khobari Ray was arrested from Durbarmarg on Tuesday evening while staging a protest against the arrest of former crown prince Paras Shah.



He was released following directives from CA speaker Subash Nemwang.



Ray who represents the CA from Nepal Sadhbhawana Party-Mahato was briefly detained at Metropolitan Police Sector, Durbarmarg.



However, nine others picked up together with Ray have not been released.
