IME supports robbery victim
KATHMANDU: International Money Express (IME) has provided financial assistance of Rs 50,000 to Hemraj Acharya, branch in-charge of Arun Impex, an IME agent based in Ratnanagar, Chitwan, for further treatment, who was assaulted and badly injured by a gang of robbers in broad day light last September. The check was handed over to Acharya by IME Executive Chairman Chandra Prasad Dhakal amid a program held at IME Complex in Panipokhari, Kathmandu, on Monday, according to a company statement.
The statement says the financial assistance was extended as part of corporate social responsibility of the company. Speaking after the function, Dhakal wished for Acharya´s speedy recovery, denounced the violent act and urged authorities to ensure safe and secure environment for businesses to operate.
