KATHMANDU, Nov 26: Prism Technologies Pvt Ltd has introduced Fly mobiles E320 full touch phone in the market. According to a press release issued by the company, the newly launched mobile set has received Type Approval Certificate (TAC) from Nepal Telecommunication Authority (NTA). “E320 is a multimedia model that supports dual SIM (GSM+GSM) and comes with 1200mAh battery that supports 9 hours of continuous talk and other non-stop entertainment,” states the release.



It has high quality audio video player and recording, King Movie Player, supports GPRS with Yahoo, MSN, Face book and twitter, Skype and popular games like Angry Bird, Fruit, Fish and Big Two come pre-installed with the set. [break]The set includes free 4GB memory card with preloaded 5 movies, 50 video songs and 20 mp3. It supports external memory up to 32GB. Prism Technologies has been selling various range of mobile sets at competitive price. It offers 12 months warranty on sets and six months warrant on charger and battery.



Winners of final week of Ncell Express announced



KATHMANDU
: Ncell´s 10 weeks long consumer loyalty campaign "Ncell Express" has concluded awarding attractive prizes to lucky customers each week, a press statement of the operator stated. The company on Monday announced the winners of the final week through a lucky draw. The lucky customer with ticket number 10004598277 has won a car, the statement added. Likewise, the operator also announced the lucky numbers of customers winning cash prize of Rs 1 million.



"Each week, the scheme had included all customers spending minimum Rs 50 in a week to win various attractive prizes," the statement added. On the same occasion, Chief Financial Officer Mr. Tommi Holopainen of Ncell handed over a cheque of Rs 1.72 million, the amount equivalent to a car to Ama Ko Ghar, an old age home as a financial support. The sum was provided to the old age home as the winner of a car in a similar type of customer loyalty scheme last year did not approach to the company to claim the prize.



Jagadamba launches new campaign

V Mobile gives away cash prizes

: V Mobile, a chain outlet of mobile and laptops, has announced the winners of Dashain scheme, under which Krishna Parajuli of Ratopul received a cash prize of Rs 100,000. Similarly, ten other individuals also received Rs 10,000 each said a press statement issued by the company, which has outlets in New Road and New Baneshwor. "The cash prizes were given away last Friday amidst a program in Kathmandu," the statement says.



Century Bank opens five branches



KATHMANDU
: Century Commercial Bank on Monday opened five new outlets, taking the number of branch offices to 22. The new branch offices were opened in Bouddha of Kathmandu, Janakpurdham of Dhanusha, Jaleshwor of Mahottari, Malangwa of Sarlahi and Garuda of Rautahat, according to a bank statement. Those who open accounts in these new branches in the next one week will get Rs 100 worth of top-up cards of Nepal Telecom or NCell for free, the statement says. The bank, which came into operation around 21 months ago, is providing modern banking services through outlets located in rural areas such as Charikot of Dolakha, Manthali of Ramechhap, Bhojpur Bazar of Bhojpur and Diktel of Khotang. The bank has so far collected deposits of Rs 7.30 billion and extended Rs 6.55 billion in loans.



BoK opens branches in Dharan, Lahan



KATHMANDU
: Bank of Kathmandu (BoK) on Monday opened branch offices in Lahan of Siraha district and Dharan of Sunsari district. The Lahan branch was inaugurated by BoK Chairman Narendra Kumar Basnet, while Dharan branch was inaugurated by Ramesh Nath Dhungel, one of the bank´s board members, according to a bank statement. With the opening of these branches, the total number of offices operated by the bank rose to 47. The bank is also extending banking services through a network of 56 ATMs and seven counters.



FCAN´s 15 AGM kicks off



BHAIRAHAWA
: Construction entrepreneurs have urged the government and political parties to forge consensus to end the long standing political standoff that has left the economy in mess. Speaking at the 15th Annual General Meeting of the Federation of Contractors´ Association of Nepal (FCAN) they blamed failure of the political leadership for the slowdown in construction works and said thousands of workers are without jobs. The Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai had inaugurated the two-day meeting that brought around 2000 delegates from across the country.
