Bus entrepreneurs enforce chakka jam

NEPALGUNJ, June 15: Bus entrepreneurs enforced a chakka jam in Kohalpur of Banke along the East-West Highway on Monday morning, protesting the thrashing of a microbus conductor by the locals of Kohalpur.



The entrepreneurs enforced the chakka jam after conductor Dal Bahadur BK was thrashed by Ajay Khatri, Raju Gurung and Rajan Bhatta. BK has sustained injuries in the ear and neck. Police have arrested Raju and Rajan.



Talks are on between the police, bus entrepreneurs and the accused to resolve the dispute and open the highway. Hundreds of passengers have been stranded on the way due to the chakka jam.
