A delegation led by Association Chairman Tej Ratna Shakya met with Minister Gachchhadar on Sunday and demanded necessary security for the gold and silver entrepreneurs, and proper compensation to the family of Bajracharya.[break]
Chairman Shakya vented anger over government not being able to give security and expressed worries that guilty has not been arrested so far.
After the meeting, Home Minister Gachchhadar said there are challenges even if some improvement has come in law and order, and added the government was sensitive towards the increased morale of the criminals and expressed commitment to arrest the guilty.
Bajracharya was in contact until 8:00 pm Friday and was found dead hand and feet tied Saturday morning.
Police has arrested two suspects but has not a found out the criminal yet.
Gold and silver dealers of the Kathmandu valley have closed down shops demanding security today.
