BPKIHS workers padlock offices indefinitely

ITAHARI, Feb. 17: All staff at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS), Dharan, padlocked the offices of the Institute indefinitely from Thursday in a bid to exert pressure to fulfill their demands.[break]



Employees Welfare Forum and Nursing Welfare Committee padlocked the offices of the Vice Chancellor (VC) of the Institute Prof. Dr Purna Chandra Karmacharya, Rector, Registrar and Director of the hospital.



Similarly, Health Professionals´ Welfare Committee also padlocked the offices of the VC and Registrar.



Likewise, the security guards of the Institute also have staged sit-in in front of the office of the Registrar Nandan Kumar Thapa and chairman of Dharan Civil Society Manoj Kumar Meyangbo from early Thursday morning.
