Chief District Officer Nadhusudan Burlakoti said the bomb was defused with the joint efforts of Nepal Army, Mepal Police and Armed Police Force for two hours.
The bomb was found wrapped by a plastic and covered under the sand near Triyuga Medical Hall in Triyuga Municipality-2. The bomb had panicked the locals for over two hours.
The spokesperson for the Morcha, Bishwokranti, had informed the journalists about the plantation of the bomb.
