Arghya Sanyal, South Asian channel director of Bitdefender and Sumeru Shrestha, CEO of Tara International jointly launched the antivirus amidst a program on Saturday.[break]
Tara International is the authorized distributor for IBM, Microsoft Software and Lenovo products in the Nepali market.
According to the company, Bitdefender is the world´s number one antivirus software. Its product range includes Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2013, Bitdefender Internet Security 2013 and Bitdefender Total Security 2013.
Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2013 costs Rs 900 for single user and Rs 1,540 for 3 users. Similarly, Bitdefender Internet Security 2013 is priced at Rs 1,080 for single user and Rs 2,000 for 3 users while Bitdefender Total Security 2013 is available at Rs 1,150 for single user and Rs 2,200 for 3 users.
“It is the first security software vendor in recent years to receive top recommendations simultaneously from the most important key independent organizations in US, UK, France, Brazil, Denmark and Belgium,” said Shrestha.
