The former is tractor driver, the latter a four-feet long statue of Hindu god Bishnu. The statue also has images of Hindu goddesses Laxmi and Saraswati.
Tractor driver Bishnu Khatwe of Janakpur Municipality-12 found the combined statue some five feet into the farmland two kilometers from district headquarters Janakpur.[break]
Khatwe found the statue while loading soil in his tractor. He realized something was hidden in the soil after his shovel hit some hard object. People in huge numbers from nearby villages Lohana, Babhanagama, Jhijha, Hanuman Nagar and Rupaitha have gathered to see the statue.
The stone statue has small sketches of various gods and goddesses on it. The statue has been kept under a peepal tree for public view.
