Speaking at a program organized by Nepal Revolutionary Workers´ Association to mark the May Day, he said peace process and constitution drafting have hit the roadblocks as the big parties are involved in power politics.[break]
He said Nepali communists have been ditching the communist ideology very fast as compared with the communists in other parts of the world. He said the communists have tarnished their image as they have started squabbling for power.
Bijukchhe alleged that Nepali communist leaders who go to power run only after foreign power centres to win their favour to stay in power rather than work for the welfare of the workers and peasants.
Stating that the communists should be true communists not only in words but in deeds too, he said the Unified CPN (Maoist) is not a true communist party.
Chief of the party´s foreign affairs department Prem Suwal said the welfare of the labourers and peasants is possible only through socialism and communism.
Earlier, a labor rally was held from local Surya Binayak which went around different parts of Bhaktapur before converging into the mass gathering.
