NEPALGUNJ, June 27: Leader of Terai Madhesh Loktantrik Party Surbendra Nath Shukla accused the three major parties of pushing aside peace process.

“Unless the issues of restive Madhesh are addressed, peace process will not be completed just after integrating People’s Liberation Army,” he said speaking at a press meet in Nepalgunj on Monday.[break]

At a time when political consensus has remained elusive, completion of peace process and the first draft of the new constitution within three months is doubtful, he said.

The tendency of wrong interpretation of the five-point agreement is leading to further disagreement among parties, he said.

Replying to a query of journalists, he said it will be unacceptable if the first draft is prepared without addressing the issue of federalism.
