Bhuwan KC campaigns for Nepal

KATHMANDU, Oct 26: Film star Bhuwan KC, whom the CPN-UML had fielded and later withdrawn as its first-past-the-post candidate from the Kathmandu consistency 1 amid protests from the party activists, was found helping the poll campaign of party´s senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal.



UML later inducted KC as the Proportional Representation Candidate of the party. [break]



Speaking at a public gathering organized as part of the poll campaign of leader Nepal at the constituency 2 in Kathmandu district, KC urged the people to vote for leader Nepal and UML party. “I am a lad from of this place and my name is Bhuwan. I have come to my birth place to ask for votes,” said KC.



Addressing the gathering organized by Gothatar Village Committee of UML, KC not only asked votes for Nepal but also described him as a senior leader of the whole country.



“We believe you all will help to ensure the victory of CPN UML and its senior leader Madhav Nepal in the upcoming election. We have the leader among us who is always there to take care of the people and whose presence in the new CA is necessary for constitution drafting,” KC said in his speech.
