Bhutanese refugee dies in elephant attack

JHAPA, Aug 8: A Bhutanese refugee died in Beldangi, Damak, on Monday morning after being attacked by a wild elephant.



Chandra Lal Darji, 37, of Beldangi refugee camp died after the elephant attack at the nearby Hamse Damse community forest, where he was collecting fodders.



This is the third death from elephant attack in two weeks here. Last week, two elderly Bhutanese refugees were killed by wild elephants.
