Bhandari's party to refrain from anti-govt protests

JANAKPURDHAM, Nov. 22: Rastriya Madhes Samajbadi Party Chairman Sarat Singh Bhandari has said that the President saved the country from an accident by approving the budget ordinance.



Speaking at a news conference organized by the party here on Thursday, Bhandari opined that President´s move to approve the budget ordinance should not be dragged into controversy.



Saying that government´s failure to bring the full budget is its dishonesty, Bhandari added that government´s step to not take the consensus spirit is unfortunate.



He also ruled out his party joining the anti-government protests launched by opposition parties as the opposition parties´ demand was only the change of government leadership.



Bhandari was of the opinion that fringe political parties should lead an election government for holding the elections in free and fair manner.
