'Be alert,' PM to chiefs of security agencies

KATHMANDU, July 1: Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal on Thursday directed the chiefs of all the four security agencies--Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and National Investigation Department--to remain alert.



The PM who held a meeting with Defense Minister Bidhya Bhandari, Home Minister Bhim Rawal and secretaries of Home and Defense Ministries including the chiefs of all the four security agencies at Singha Durbar cautioned about the complications of the transitional period.



He said that some people might try to benefit from the present stage of the country.
