Batch No 16 wows police officers

KATHMANDU, March 1: Batch No 16, a soon to be released Nepali film about two Armed Police Force officers was screened among an audience of more than 400 police officers at the Nepal Armed Police Force Headquarters, Halchowk on Monday.[break]



Directed by Pitamber Pandey the film has been shot with the use of real commandos and weapons. “We enjoyed screening the film and interacting with police officers because it’s based on their life,” shared assistant director Suraj Bhusal.



The film which is scheduled to be released on March across cinema halls in Nepal stars actors Suman Singh and Arpan Thapa in the lead roles. Other casts of the film include actors Sushma Karki, Rubi Bhattarai and Anup Baral. The film has been made with a budget of more than one crore and shot in the scenic locations of Jumla, Nawalparasi, Chitwan and Pokhara.
