The Avatar comes with 1GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, 8 GB hard drive (expandable up to 32 GB via micro SD card, 1TB via external drive), built in 360 degree G-sensor, mic, camera, and full HDMI video output.
“Compared to the other brand table the Avatar tablet pc has longer battery life of up to 6 hours, and it can be connected to the internet through wireless network or 3G dongle,” Naychhyon told Republica.
The Avatar tablet pc is equipped with Android v2.3 which enables it to download thousands of applications from the Android market. This tablet supports all types of picture and video formats.
The Avatar tablet pc is also equipped with setup email, Gmail, yahoo, hotmail, web browser, audio-video player, image gallery, maps, application installer, calendar, file browsers, INTEX Zone, Google search, calculator, YouTube, picasa, friendster and many more.
The company has fixed the price of Avatar tablet pc at Rs 22,000 and comes with a one year warranty.
“The Avatar tablet pc was showcased in the on going Samsung Expo 2012, which is organized by the Mobile Traders Associations of Nepal (MTAN) in Bhirkuti Mandap,” said Naychhyon.
“However, company will start distributing the Avatar tablet pc from the April 17, but the booking has been opened from March 29 and costumer who book Avatar tablet pc can get it at Rs 18, 000 which is Rs 4, ooo less than retail price,” said Naychhyon.
Naychhyon disclosed he was happy because 120 units were booked within 3 days.
