The warrant was issued after the bodyguard of Chief District Officer Durga Prasad Bhandari, whom Begum had slapped at his office on Tuesday, filed a public offense case on Wednesday at the District Police office Parsa.
Police spokesman Bigyan Raj Sharma confirmed that a warrant was circulated to all possible districts to nab her. The violent parliamentarian from the Madhesi People´s Rights Forum (Democratic) had returned to the capital on Wednesday.
After registering the case, the chief of Parsa police, SP Subodh Ghimire, had said Begum would be arrested if she was found in the district.
Meanwhile, the parliamentary party meeting of MPRF (Democratic) on Thursday discussed the issue. The issue will be discusse further as the meeting continues Friday, according to the chief whip of the party Ram Janam Chaudhary.
