Appeal for resolution of refugee problem

BHADRAPUR, Nov 9: Bhutan People´s Party (BPP) has appealed to the Government of Nepal to make concrete negotiations to resolve Bhutanese refugee problem in the 17th Summit of the South Asian Association of Regional Cooperation (SAARC).



Chairman of the BPP, Balaram Paudel has, in a press release recently urged the government to fulfill the desire of Bhutanese refugees, who have been passing their life with difficulty in different refugee camps of Jhapa and Morang districts in Nepal, to return them to their homeland.[break]



The party also urged the Government of Nepal to prepare the way for resolving the refugee problem through tripartite talks between Nepal, India, and Bhutan for settling the problem by returning the refugees to their homes respectfully
