APF DSP killed in road accident

KATHMANDU, Feb 3: Armed Police Force (APF) DSP Prashant Gautam was killed in when his motorcycle (BA 31 PA 8386) was hit by a passenger bus (BA 1 Kha 1385) at 9:50 pm near Mulpani Thursday night. “DSP Gautam was hit by a passenger bus on his way home,” said SSP Sailendra Khanal, APF spokesperson.



Gautam was pronounced dead at Neuro Hospital, Bansbari. “He was pronounced dead at around 2:15 am Friday,” SSP Khanal added.[break]



The driver of the bus has been absconding following the incident.



Late DSP Gautam, a resident of Dachi, had joined the APF as inspector in 2003. He was with Guheshwori battalion of APF.
