ANNFSU national convention to kick off from February 11

KATHMANDU, Feb 10: The 12nd national convention of All Nepal National Free Student's Union (ANNFSU) is scheduled to begin from February 11 at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu.

The two-day convention slated to take place from February 10 was put off due to the demise of former Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala, ANNFSU spokesperson RC Lamichhane said.Meanwhile, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to inaugurate the event.

ANNFSU General-Secretary Nabina Lama and Vice-President Dipak Gautam will be vying for the position of ANNFSU president during the convention.

Around 1500 representatives from across the country have already convened in Kathmandu to take part in the convention, Lamichhane informed. RSS
