Speaking at a face-to-face organized by Reporters’ Club Nepal here on Sunday, Secretary Gajurel said all cases that took place during the conflict should be resolved together and it would not be just to give only CA member Dhungel amnesty.[break]
Likewise, CPN-UML Secretary Yubaraj Gyawali said the Government has made a mockery of rule of law by deciding to give amnesty to a person convicted by murder by the Supreme Court.
He also said that the people would be compelled to take to the streets if the decision was not withdrawn.
Nepali Congress leader Dr Ram Sharan Mahat said the Government has violated the seven-point agreement and also made a mockery of the judiciary.
He also stressed that the Government should withdraw the decision immediately in order to avoid the demand of resignation of the Prime Minister who has been trying to establish bad governance in the country by putting an end to law and norms and values of the nation.
