Alam elected as NC CWC member

KATHMANDU, Sept 23: Mohammad Aftab Alam has been elected as the Central Working Committee (CWC) Member of the Nepali Congress (NC) under reservation seat allocated to Muslim community through the 12th general convention of the party on Thursday.



Alam who is also the Minister for Labor and Transportation in Nepal-led government mustered 1,262 votes.



The vote counting for the other members is underway.
