The agitators accused the Shree Ganesh Food Industry of selling rice, defying the indefinite agitations the UDMF has been launching in the Tarai against the constitution. Police said that the protestors looted around 150 sacks willed with paddy worth between Rs 60,000 to Rs 70,000, police said.
Meanwhile, police also fired 19 rounds of bullets in the air, following a clash that erupted after the agitators pelted stones against police mobilized to take the situation under control.
