'Address youth issues to resolve present crisis'

KATHMANDU, Feb 18: Youth leaders of various political parties claim that the failures to incorporate youths and their voices in political parties were reasons behind present political crisis.



Speaking at a program in the capital on Monday, UCPN (Maoist) leader Ram Karki said that political parties in the country were not active as leadership lack young leaders. [break]



Addressing the same program, CPN-UML leader Rabindra Adhikari was with a view that elder leadership were driving the parties as per own ideologies without incorporating youths’ voice. He stressed that formation of government under a political party was far better than a chief justice-led government.



Nepali Congress leader Bishwa Prakash argued that current political crisis was due to majority of the elder leadership in the political parties.
