Santosh Limbu, Bikram Limbu, Ganesh Gurung, Bal Bahadur Limbu, Udesh Limbu of Bayarban VDC were the arrestees. Case against them will be filed, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Shahakul Thapa.
Dahal said that he escaped from their clutches and contacted Morang district public security bureau close to UCPN(Maoist) which latter rescued him on Friday morning, said Morang chief of the bureau Balidan.
Police said the Limbuwan cadres abducted Dahal when he refused to provide Rs. 75,000 that they demanded as donation from the budget allocated to local canal construction consumers´ committee. Dahal is the coordinator of the committee.
