52 of these tankers entered Nepal through the Biratnagar-Jogbani border checkpoint, seven tankers with petroleum products include one tanker loaded with kerosene entered via the Kakarbhitta, three diesel tankers via Nepalgunj and one petrol and two diesel tankers entered via the Kailali border checkpoint. Flow of supplies at the Sunauli border was halted on Wednesday due to protests and clashes.Meanwhile, leaders and cadres of the agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) have continued the blockade at the Nepal-India border checkpoints in different districts of the eastern Tarai, including major checkpoints of Gaur-Bairginiya, Jaleshwar-Bhittamod and Birgunj-Raxaul on Wednesday for the 14th consecutive day. The two-week-long border blockade has caused acute shortage of supplies especially of petroleum products across the country.
