GHORAHI, March 27: A 52-year-old woman died after being hit by a tipper truck in Dang on Friday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Juthi Pun of Ghorahi–13, Bhyudar, according to Police Inspector Baburam Basnet of the District Police Office.

The accident occurred near Bahrakune Daha along the Ghorahi–Rolpa Shahid Highway when a tipper truck (Ra 1 Pa 1293), carrying limestone for a cement factory and heading towards Ghorahi, struck the victim.
Police have taken the driver into custody and further investigation into the incident is underway.
