4.5 magnitude quake jolts Kathmandu Valley, epicenter in Bhaisepati

KATHMANDU, April 9: An aftershock of Gorkha Earthquake that hit Nepal last year, jolted Kathmandu Valley and adjoining districts at 7:05 pm on Saturday evening.

According to the Chief of National Seismological Center (NSC), Lok Bijay Adhikari, the quake measured 4.5 on the Richter scale.

The epicenter was located in Bhaisepati, Lalitpur, he said.
