300 kg cow meat seized

BANKE, Oct 29: Police have seized 300 kilograms of cow meat including dried and fresh in Raniyapur-7, Banke on Wednesday night.



A District Police Office team led by DSP Raj Kumar Baidawar found the meat and also confiscated weights and scale from the home of one Chabban Qureshi following a tip-off that he has been slaughtering cows and selling dry meat for a long time.



Qureshi is absconding while the meat has been sent to forensic lab through the District Livestock Services Ofiice, according to police.
