Lawmaker sits for exam
Meanwhile, CPN-UML lawmaker Kiran Yadav, whose daughter appeared in place of her Sunday, herself sat for the exams on Monday. Yadav´s daughter Poonam was arrested from Barhathawa Higher Secondary School center in Sarlahi but released immediately as the district administration tried to hush up the matter.
The examination coordination committee continues to deny that Yadav´s daughter was arrested for appearing in the exams in her mother´s stead. Chief District Officer Shambhu Ghimire, who is chairman of the committee, said Yadav has signed in the attendance register and her absence on Sunday cannot be deduced as appearance of someone else in the exams.
