Hang Su, 37, and Yon Shi Won, 40, had started scaling the mountain from Sirdibashi in Gorkha district on April 12. Four other Korean mountaineers accompanying them and two Sherpas injured during the incident, however, have returned to Kathmandu on Tuesday.
The police were informed about the incident on April 26. “We have been searching for the missing mountaineers after we were informed about it,” DSP Bishnu KC said.
