According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, Aruna Chepang, six, daughter of Hari Bahadur Chepang, of Kaule VDC-7 died after a landslide buried their house early this morning.
Superintendent of Police, Sahakul Bahadur Thapa said the incident took place at 1:00 am.
Similarly, Suk Bahadur Chepang, 28, of Kaule VDC-6 died after he was swept away by a swollen Taisibung rivulet Wednesday night. SP Thapa said Suk Bahadur was swept away while crossing the rivulet.
Chief District Officer, Binod Prakash Singh, said hilly villages including Padampur, Shaktikhor and Kaule as well as Bachhauli have been affected by flood. RSS
