150 combatants released in Nawalparasi

PARASI, Jan 19: One hundred 50 disqualified Maoist combatants were released on Tuesday from the Jhyaltundanda Cantonment in Arun Khola, Nawalparasi.



There are 622 disqualified combatants in the fourth division of the Maoist’s People Liberation Army in the cantonment.



During the release, representatives from United Nation Mission in Nepal (UNMIN), UNICEF and Ministry of Peace were present.



According to the cantonment officer, the remaining disqualified combatants in the cantonment will be released on Thursday.
