Youth Force, Tarun Dal cadres clash; one injured

TAPLEJUNG, Sept 25: A cadre of Nepal Tarun Dal was injured in a clash with cadres of the Youth Force at Thumkimbba of Taplejung on Saturday.



Nepal Congress district office has claimed that one of their cadres was shot at by the cadres of the Youth Force. "The clash ensued after youth force cadres attacked our cadres inside the training program," said Ganeshbabu Niraula, the NC´s acting district chief.



However, Radha Prasad Paudel, Chairman, district Youth Force committee said, “We retaliated after the Tarun Dal cadres attacked our training program.”



A group of 16 security persons had been deployed to bring the situation under control, said DSP Sudip Rajbhandari.
