KATHMANDU, June 10: Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle has claimed that a coordinated campaign of misinformation has been spread against him.
Speaking at a discussion on the budget organized by the House of Representatives Finance Committee on Wednesday, Wagle said false narratives were being circulated while Parliament remained obstructed.

"Instead of allowing budget discussions in the House of Representatives, Parliament has been disrupted, and an organized campaign of rumors has been launched against me," Wagle said. "I have come to the parliamentary committee to respond to those allegations as well."
The committee meeting was ongoing at the time of his remarks, with the finance minister presenting his views on the budget and related concerns.
