SIMARA, March 18: Former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal on Friday said the CPN-UML talks team would hold dialogues with the Nepali Congress (NC) and other political parties asking them to join the government.

“We are holding talks with the NC tomorrow [Saturday]. After that we will also talk to other parties and ask them to give the current government a broad-based coalition,” Nepal, who heads the UML talks team formed on Thursday, told journalists upon his arrival at Simara airport.[break]

He informed that the talks team would also hold dialogues with the Maoists soon.

Accusing the Maoists of not being cooperative in the management of arms and armies, he said the task of taking the peace process to a logical conclusion was being delayed due to the Maoists´ unwillingness to resolve the matter.
