UML picks candidates from Taplejung

TAPLEJUNG: The Taplejung district committee of CPN-UML has nominated candidates for both the first past the post (FPTP) and proportional (PR) representation to be fielded in the upcoming Constituent Assembly elections. Party district committee member Bhupendra Thebe nominated for constituency number 1.



Similarly, Ganga Darnal was nominated unanimously for constituency number 2. Likewise, Ambika Raj Bhandari was nominated for PR electoral system. The district committee of the party has said that they held an election to nominate the candidates as election is the only way to ensure selection of right candidates.
