According to police, Arati Lodh, 34, and Basanti Tharu, 28, of Harneya VDC-3 were found dead, with their throat slit.[break]
Police said two bodies were recovered some 500 meters from the human settlement, nearby a fishery pond at around 8 pm Tuesday.
Four people have been arrested in connection with the incident, Hari Bahdur Pal, Rupendehi district police chief informed.
A preliminary investigation shows the husband of Lodh is currently outside the country, whereas Tharu’s husband is ill and has two sons.
Both the bodies have been sent to the district hospital for post-mortem
