DADELDHURA, Jan 11: Two people have died in a road accident that took place in Dadeldhura on Saturday evening.
The accident involved a head-on collision between a tractor and a motorcycle at Kuyapani in Parshuram Municipality-9 of the district.

The motorcycle rider, 27-year-old Naveen Saud and pillion rider, 35-year-old Man Jagri of ward no. 12 in the same municipality, died in the accident, according to District Police Chief Barun Bahadur Singh.
Seriously injured in the incident, both were declared dead upon arrival by doctors at Jogbudha Hospital for treatment. The tractor (Se 2 Ta 1474) was heading towards Gaibadhe from Jogbudha and hit a motorcycle (Ma 1 Pa 9973) coming from the opposite direction on the Jogbudha-Daiji road section.
Following the accident, 32-year-old tractor driver Suresh Bhatta, a resident of Parshuram Municipality, is absconding. Police said that a search operation is underway to nab him for necessary investigation and action.
