The convocation ceremony is being held for the first time out of the TU premises, considering the participation by a large number of students. A total of 5,394 students from various streams are taking part in the ceremony.[break]
The TU has removed the provision of wearing the formal national dress in its convocation ceremony this year onwards. However, the wearing of the gown and scarf provided by TU is compulsory.
