Truck with passengers missing in Trishuli

DHADING, Aug 20:
An Eicher truck along with the people traveling on it has gone missing after it plunged some 200 feet down into the Trishuli River at Jyamireghat of Jogimara VDC-9 of Dhading district at around 6 am on Monday.



Three persons including the driver, who were on board the vehicle (Lu 1 Kha 4942) at the time of the mishap have gone missing. [break]



The missing have been identified as, truck driver Surendra Poudel of Hetauda, assistant driver Deepak Gurung of Tanahun and Ravi Gurung.



According to police inspector Binod Ghimire of area police office, Gajuri, the truck was ferrying eggs from Muglin to Kathmandu.



Police and locals are searching for the missing truck and people.
