TMDP treasurer, three others killed in accident

KATHMANDU, Jan 22: Four persons, including Tarai Madhes Democratic Party (TMDP) Central Treasurer Shree Krishna Yadav, were killed on Friday after the jeep they were traveling on fell 500 m down the road in Jurikhet area of Makawanpur VDC.



According to TMDP leader Hridayesh Tripathi, three others killed in the accident include Arun Kumar Yadav, who contested Constituent Assembly (CA) election from Mahottari, party cadre Parameshwar Shah Haluwai and driver Bhola Ray Yadav.



The jeep had left Kathmandu for Janakpur on Friday noon. Tripathi, quoting local police, said the jeep has been completely damaged in the accident.
