Three killed in accidents

ITAHARI, Dec 27: Two persons died in separate road accidents in Morang and Panchthar districts.



An ambulance knocked Bimal Limbu (25) of Mirgauliya-9 in Morang Saturday evening along East-West Highway.



Police said he breathed his last while undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.



Similarly, Bikram Tumbhamphe (20) was killed Saturday afternoon when the tractor he was driving met with an accident in Panchthar.



Two others were injured in the accident, police said.



Meanwhile, a motorbike rider was killed when a truck hit his motorcycle at Darechowk of Chitawan district.



The truck (Na 2 Kha 4958) bound to Kathmandu from Narayanghat knocked the motorcycle (Ga 4 Pa 3494) coming from opposite direction and the motorcycle rider Resham Dinmiyan of Tapte 4 of Gorkha district died on the spot on Saturday, said Area police Office Mugling.



The truck and its driver have been brought under police control, said police.
